Drug Paraphernalia Arrest: On May 14, 2018 at 3:06 a.m., Ptl. Vincent LaManno responded to the 7-Eleven on Route 23 for the report of a suspicious person. Upon his arrival he was met by a Riverdale police officer who stated that he was in Dunkin Donuts and was asked by employees to remove a male subject from that location. The Riverdale officer then brought the male subject to 7-Eleven. Ptl. LaManno contacted the male subject, Nicholas Cirillo, 27 years old of Green Brook, N.J. After a check of Mr. Cirillo’s credentials, it was learned that he had an active warrant out of the Green Brook Municipal Court. Mr. Cirillo was subsequently arrested and searched by Ptl. LaManno. During the search, Ptl. LaManno located several items described as suspected drug paraphernalia. Mr. Cirillo was transported to Pequannock Police Headquarters where he was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and turned over to the Green Brook Police Department for the active warrant. Mr. Cirillo has a pending appearance in the Pequannock Municipal Court for the paraphernalia charge.
