DWI Arrest: On October 28, 2018 at 4:58 p.m., Ptl. Christopher McIvor responded to Chilton Medical Center on the report of an irate visitor who was not wanted at the hospital. Upon his arrival, Ptl. McIvor made contact with security officers and the accused, identified as Kenneth Manning, 68 years old of Pequannock, N.J. Hospital security advised Ptl. McIvor that Mr. Manning was not welcome at the hospital but he refused to leave. Security officers also informed Ptl. McIvor that they believed Mr. Manning was intoxicated and had driven to the hospital. Upon further investigation, Ptl. McIvor established that Mr. Manning did drive to the hospital and displayed obvious signs of intoxication. Mr. Manning refused to perform field sobriety tests and was subsequently placed under arrest and was transported to police headquarters for processing. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, and disorderly conduct. He was released to a third party and has a scheduled court date at the Pequannock Municipal Court.
