Syringe Possession Arrest: On June 6, 2017 at 1:40 p.m., Ptl. Jack Lyon observed a vehicle being operated in the rain with its windshield wipers on and no headlights operating. The officer also observed the rear seat passenger throw a lighted cigarette from the window of the car. Ptl. Lyon stopped the car and made contact with the occupants. After a brief investigation, the rear seat passenger was found to be in possession of a hypodermic syringe. David M. Harrison, 41 years old from Pompton Plains, was arrested, transported to headquarters and processed. Mr. Harrison was charged with possession of a hypodermic syringe. Mr. Harrison was also the subject of several active arrest warrants and was turned over to the Secaucus Police Department.
