Collection is the same for the entire township. Schedule is a follows:
Monday - Vegetative Waste

ANIMAL CONTROL
Licensing of dogs and cats (License Form)
Operation of Animal Shelter; Conduct annual Free Rabies Program in the fall of each year, Patrol services responding to complaints of loose animals in the community
RETAIL FOOD INSPECTION REPORTS
Review recent retail food inspections conducted by Health Department staff in area food and drink establishments including restaurants, delicatessens and food markets.
FOOD SAFETY
All necessary documents for Food Safety Award of Excellence Program and Food Safety Class Schedule.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Issue septic and well permits for newly constructed or altered septic systems (brochure on septic system care)and individual water supplies.
Inspect public bathing places, spas and swimming pools, body piercing, tattoo and massage parlors (Massage License Application), and youth and day camps.
HEALTH EDUCATION
Educate adults in areas of smoking cessation, flu prevention, bloodborne pathogens, fitness and nutrition, healthy aging
Educate children in areas of tobacco prevention, flu prevention, hygiene, fitness and nutrition, sun safety, poison prevention
Educate adolescents in areas of tobacco prevention, sun safety, smoking cessation, alcohol prevention
Facilitate community-wide fitness and weight loss programs
Disseminate Health Department news and information via social network and media outlets
PUBLIC HEALTH NURSING SERVICES
Conduct individual health assessments to determine proper referral for necessary personal health care.
Offer monthly Blood Pressure Screenings at Hearle Village (3rd Wed. of each month 9-11 am)
Investigate all communicable diseases
Offer immunizations to include adult influenza vaccinations and childhood vaccinations schedules as recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
Audit all schools to insure appropriate vaccination levels of each student
Conduct health promotion programs to help residents identify and change unhealthy lifestyle practices.
MORRIS COUNTY 2007 COMMUNTY HEALTH IMPROVEMENT PLAN
This Morris County Health Improvement Plan identifies health service and system needs and states goals and objectives that can improve the health status of county residents. Its guiding principle is the intent to stimulate organizations and individuals to initiate goal implementing programs and projects.

second system providing water to the remainder of Pequannock Township
