    Welcome to the official website
     of the
     Pequannock Township
    Police Department!

    Brian C. Spring
    Chief of Police

Welcome to the Pequannock Township Police website.  I hope you will visit often as my staff will keep the page up to date.  Periodically we will post traffic notices and messages of interest to our residents.

We currently have 31 sworn police officers, 4 full-time certified police dispatchers, 3 special police officers, and a full-time records clerk/administrative assistant.  The department is divided into 4 main divisions:  Patrol, Detective Bureau, Community Services Bureau which also encompasses the Traffic Bureau, and an Administrative Bureau.  Because of our increasing population and the changes taking place in our surrounding communities and the resulting increase in traffic issues and calls for service, our governing body and Township Manager Kevin F. Boyle have approved and supported the expansion of the department.  This expansion started in 2005, and will be complete sometime between 2007 and 2008.

I am very proud of our professional staff, and we are constantly updating our training and community programs to meet the ever-changing needs of today’s law enforcement community.  Be assured that we will continue to train our officers and tailor our community services to keep Pequannock Township the great place it is to live and to raise our families.

Your concerns and comments are welcome.  Please navigate our site and take advantage of it to contact us with any traffic or community concerns.
