The police department is proud to utilize the services of our "four legged" officer, "Kassie."  She is a German Shepard, acquired by the department approximately one year ago.  Local residents and businesses have been very generous in donating funds to help support Kassie.  She and her handler, Det. James Mandeville have completed extensive training and are a fully qualified team.  They are frequently called upon by the department to assist at the scenes of search warrants and motor vehicle stops as drug detection is Kassie's specialty!

Kassie and Det. Mandeville are together both on duty and off and are available to respond whenever they are needed.
