The Division of Tax Assessment is responsible for maintaining the asssessed values of all real property within the Township in accordance with state statute.  Having the proper assessed values assures the fair and equitable distribution of property taxes to all taxpayers.  Pequannock Township welcomes Robert Sweeney, who was appointed as the new Township Tax Assessor on May 8, 2001. He has office hours every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m..  Tracy Clarke, Assessment Clerk provides full time support for the Assessor's Office, along with secretarial work for the Finance deparment.
