Welcome to P.B.A. Local #172

This branch of the New Jersey Policemen's Benevolent Association is the sole representative of the officers of the Pequannock Township Police Department.  From the Chief of Police to the newest patrolman, ALL officers of our department are members in good standing of this local.

P.B.A. Local #172 is a proud and active supporter of the residents and business owners of Pequannock Township.  Each year, we award several scholarships to members of the graduating class of Pequannock Township High School.  The local is also a proud sponsor of many local groups and civic projects.



20th Annual Golf Outing

Join the members of P.B.A. Local #172 for a day on the links at the scenic Farmstead Country Club.  Participants will enjoy 18 holes of golf with a cart, beer and soda served on the course, a barbeque buffet dinner and a gift bag.  Numerous door prizes are awarded and the golfer who shoots the lowest net, lowest gross, longest drive and closest to the pin are each recognized.  Should you drop the first hole in one, Route 23 Honda will have a new car at the course for you to go home in!  The cost for this fund  raising event is $140 per golfer and/or $100 to sponsor a hole.  We always sell out, so get your registration in early and we'll see you on the course.

P.B.A. Local #172 relies on the generous support of the residents and business owners in and around Pequannock Township.  Each year we send a letter requesting a financial contribution.  This is our only request for money.  At no time does P.B.A. Local #172 solicit or endorse any solicitation, over the telephone.  Organizations and individuals claiming to represent this Local over the telephone are NOT legitimate!
