Our facility is located at 99 Alexander Avenue in Pompton Plains. Our staff consists of sixteen full time employees who work on Roads, Water, Sewer, Parks and Grounds operations.  Seasonal help is employed during the leaf collection season.

 

The services of the Department of Public Works include:

·       Water system distribution and maintenance. This includes
maintenance of the township wells and booster stations.

·       Sanitary sewer system maintenance

·       Road maintenance including snow and ice control

·       Stormwater maintenance

·       Street Sweeping

·       Street Signage

·       Maintenance of all township owned vehicles

·       Grounds and Parks maintenance

·       Leaf Collection (seasonal)

·       Spring Operations & Maintenance focus

 

The DPW takes great pride in the township and the services it provides to its residents. There is a service request form on the township website. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome.

No Dumping of any kind is permitted at the DPW facility.
