DWI Arrest: On January 18, 2018 at 12:01 a.m., Ptl. Matthew Halligan observed a vehicle being operated erratically on Route 23 North in the vicinity of Jackson Avenue. Ptl. Halligan stopped the car and made contact with the driver. During their conversation, the officer observed several indicators that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. After performing several field sobriety tests, Digby M. Ferrara, 44 years old from Kinnelon, was arrested, transported to headquarters and processed. Mr. Ferrara was charged with failure to signal, reckless driving and driving while intoxicated. He was released to a third party and has a pending court appearance.
DWI & CDS Arrest: On January 19, 2018 at 11:27 p.m., Ptl. Kevin Boone was advised by dispatch of a possible intoxicated driver on Route 23 North. Ptl. Boone was able to locate the vehicle and conduct a traffic stop. While speaking with the driver, the officer smelled the odor of an alcoholic beverage on her breath. After performing several field sobriety tests, Kathy A. Krisinski, 50 years old from Oak Ridge, was arrested, transported to headquarters and processed. During a search of her purse, four suspected Oxycodone pills were discovered. Ms. Krisinski was charged with reckless driving, failure to exhibit an insurance card, driving while intoxicated, refusing to submit breath samples and possession of CDS. She was released to a third party and has a pending court appearance.
