DWI Arrest: On September 3, 2018 at 3:58 p.m., Ptl. Benjamin Kohle responded to the area of the Tudor Glens, on the report of a possible intoxicated driver. Upon his arrival, he was able to locate the suspect vehicle which was parked in a parking stall. Ptl. Kohle made contact with the operator who was still in the front seat and was later identified as Thomas Jordan Jr., 37 years old of Lake Hiawatha, N.J. Ptl. Kohle reported that Mr. Jordan displayed multiple signs of alcohol consumption. Mr. Jordan confirmed that he had been drinking and was asked to perform field sobriety tests. At the conclusion of the tests, he was arrested and was transported to police headquarters for processing. Mr. Jordan was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, failure to exhibit a driver’s license, and driving while suspended. He was released to a third party and has a scheduled court date at the Pequannock Municipal Court.
