 Pequannock Police Department is looking to hire at least one (1) Police Officer from this hiring process.

Submitting an Application:

All applications must be submitted via PoliceApp by 9/8/23 at 11:59 pm EST.

There is a $35.00 application fee that goes exclusively to PoliceApp for processing.  Pequannock Township does not accept any portion of that application fee.

Minimum Application Requirements:

- Applicants must possess, at a minimum:
----- A Bachelor’s Degree.
----- OR an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years of law enforcement experience.

- Applicants must already possess: 
---- A PTC certification from an accredited New Jersey Police Academy.
---- 
OR be currently enrolled in an accredited New Jersey Police Academy for PTC.
---- OR be a Class II Special Officer that is PTC certification waiver eligible.

You must:
- Be a United States Citizen
- Be a minimum of 21 years of age and not older than 35 at the time of appointment
- Must have a high school diploma
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving history
- Excellent physical fitness and must be able to pass a physical examination
- Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
- Be able to demonstrate good judgment and decision-making abilities
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reside within a reasonable distance of Pequannock Township
