Electronics Recycling - Now Available through the Township of Pequannock

The recycling of electronic equipment is now possible by dropping acceptable items off at the Public Works Annex, located at 99 Alexander Avenue, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

The Township of Pequannock Department of Public Works is please to announce the new program in an effort to make the recycling of electronic equipment more convenient for Township residents.

Acceptable Materials

  • Computers (Desktops, Laptops, Tablets)
  • Servers
  • Printers
  • Computer Peripherals (Mice, Keyboards, Webcams, Microphones, etc.)
  • LED, LCD Monitors
  • LED, LCD, Plasma Televisions
  • Microwaves, Toasters, Toaster Ovens
  • Copy Machines
  • Fax Machines
  • Scanners
  • Typewriters
  • Ink/Toner Cartridges
  • Telephones & Answering Machines
  • Smart Phones/Cell Phones/Pagers/PDAs/Chargers
  • UPS Units/Battery Backups
  • GPS Units
  • Audio Equipment (Receivers, Amplifiers, Radios, Boom Boxes, CD Players, iPods, MP3 Players, Pro Audio)
  • Network Equipment (Modems, Switches, Hubs, Routers)

  • Materials Containing Liquids
  • Radioactive Meterials
  • CDs, DVDs, VHS Tapes, Cassette Tapes, Wooden Speakers, Vacuum Cleaners 
  • Light Bulbs (LED, CFL, Incandescent, etc.)
  • Other Items That May be Identified (This list is intended to provided examples and is not intended to be all inclusive)
