Municipal Buildings Remain Closed to the Public for Walk In Service but Operations Continue

Municipal operations continue but to be responsible, actions have been taken to keep residents and staff safe and to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

Please know that during these challenging times, the Township of Pequannock continues to operate and serve all those who live here, own businesses here and visit here.  To keep everyone safe, all municipal facilities are closed for walk-in service.  Additionally, as required by Governor Murphy’s Executive Order 107, staff members who are able to work from home are working remotely.  For those members of the staff who must be present, schedules have been staggered and work space has been adjusted so that all services are maintained but provided in a safe and responsible manner.

Today, the use of technology allows many tasks to be completed without face to face interaction.  While the approach in the Township of Pequannock is usually to welcome those with whom we do business into our offices, due to COVID-19 we must operate differently.  Therefore, please be mindful of the services available through the Township’s website:

If you find yourself with a question or concern regarding municipal operations and are unsure who to contact, please contact the Township Manager.

If you have questions about COVID-19, please be aware of the following resources:

Additionally, staff in the Health Department can assist you with any questions you may have on COVID-19 or public health issues.

Please be reminded that your actions can make a difference, following the advice from the public health experts provides the greatest chance to avoid contracting or transmitting COVID-19.  More information on what you can do is available within the Message from the Mayor and All Members of the Township Council.
